The Zeb Stool was devised as a series of differently shaped swivel seats in a range of finishes that can be attached to the same height-adjustable base, to fulfil the specific purpose of a bar stool, with every individual component precisely developed for its designated function. The seat and swivel mount are fabricated from die-cast aluminium, with a powder-coated column sleeve and chrome-plated gas spring, footrest and base plate. The round seats are also produced in solid oak and leather-covered variants, with the version incorporating a backrest formed in self-skinning foam. The stool’s name references Zebedee, the talking jack-in-the-box character from the BBC children’s television series‚ The Magic Roundabout (1965-1977).
